ANTI-INFLAMMATORY JUICE
Asthma, gout, and arthritis are inflammatory problems. As somebody said, when you have an attack, stop eating and start drinking - water and fresh juices.
If you experienced chronic pains/attacks, I suggest that you REDUCE/AVOID consuming these foods for a time until you get better:
Tomatoes, potatoes, eggplant, spicy foods, meat, meat organs, animal fats (lard), pork, processed foods, white sugar, dairy products, coffee, soda drinks, alcohol, tobacco, and the deadly corn-flour.
INCREASE: Lots of fruits and green vegetables, and pure drinking water.
JUICE RECIPE (makes one portion). This recipe contains all the anti-inflammatory ingredients. Drink regularly, not only when you have an attack. Replace pineapple with 1 small bittergourd if diabetic.
- 2 sticks celery
- ½ pineapple *
- 1 small cucumber
- ¼ lemon
- ½-inch ginger
*Note: Pineapple is very fibrous, cut in small pieces to prevent clogging your juicer.
